Gentle Reminder

As previously discussed, this time tomorrow the year will be Twenty Ten. Not ‘Two Thousand and Ten’. Not ‘Two Thousand Ten’. Twenty Ten. You’ve had almost two years warning to get this right, people, it shouldn’t be difficult.

Also, in the 1890’s did they refer to the 1860’s as ‘The Sixties’? At what point will we stop referring to the Twentieth Century ’60’s as ‘the Sixties’ and start referring to it as ‘the 1960’s’?

Also also, what’s the lowest denomination of coin you’d pick up if you saw it on the floor? I’d say 5p, but one of my colleagues went as high as 50p. Surely the time to phase out the 1p and 2p piece is nigh?

It’s New Year’s Eve and I’m very bored at work. Can you tell?
